Three ways to read the signal

Every mode runs the same honest contract — twenty-five trials, five choices, one impression at a time. What changes is how the signal reaches you.

Symbol intuition

Zener

Read the signal before the card turns face up.

  • A shuffled 25-card deck — five each of circle, cross, waves, square and star.
  • Every reveal is a real card flip, with gold for a hit and red for a miss.
  • Streak milestones fire at 3, 7 and 10.
  • Each session gets its own coordinate code you can share.
25 cards · 5 symbols The Zener board showing a hit: the waves card revealed in glowing white with a gold Hit! banner.

Hidden signals

Dowsing

Follow the pull and uncover the hidden target.

  • Five positions on a live sonar field: NW, NE, Centre, SW and SE.
  • The scope breathes and sweeps between rounds — no dead air.
  • A hit cracks the board open with gold lightning.
  • Shares the same scoring, history and statistics as Zener.
25 rounds · 5 positions The Dowsing sonar field with five numbered positions arranged over a sweeping radar.

Place precognition

Star Seeds

Name the gate the falling seed will find.

  • Call one of five gates, then watch the seed fall and decide it.
  • A physical bounce through a lattice of stars — no two drops alike.
  • You're not reading a card. You're calling an outcome that doesn't exist yet.
  • Twenty-five drops, its own leaderboard, its own history.
25 drops · 5 gates The Star Seeds board: a field of gold and blue stars above five numbered gates.

A signal map, not a score

Every turn is laid out side by side: what you read, what the card actually was, and whether it landed. Twenty-five little verdicts you can scan in about four seconds.

Above it sits the number that matters — your signal strength measured against the 20% you'd expect from pure guessing, with the baseline drawn right on the bar so you can't misread your own result.

Long enough to mean something

One good session is noise. A hundred of them is a shape. Psychic Tournament keeps every completed session in a local database and rolls it into hit rate, best score, average, total hits, and daily, weekly and monthly trends.

Filter by game mode or date range, drill into any single session, and delete anything you don't want kept. It's your data, on your device.

Leaderboards

Play against the whole board

Score eleven or better and you're on it. Every game keeps its own rankings, sliced three ways — today, this month, and all time — so a single hot session still counts for something and a long run of good ones counts for more.

The main menu shows you the two numbers that matter before you even start: today's top score, and the score to beat this month.

MindSight

Learn to see with your intuition

MindSight is a training practice built on an unusual premise: that perception doesn't have to travel through the eyes. Practitioners work blindfolded until what they call Windows begin to open — stretches of full sight with the eyes still covered. It's a skill that's been getting a lot more attention lately.

MindSight Shapes: a single glowing Zener circle on a violet tile against the cosmic background.

The hard part is practising alone

Traditionally this training takes two people. One holds up a card; the other sits blindfolded and calls it; the first one says whether it was right. No partner, no practice — which is why most people who want to try it never really get started.

Psychic Tournament takes the second person's job. It chooses the target, waits for your call, and tells you what it actually was — through sound and haptics, so none of it needs your eyes. Blindfold on, phone in hand, practise as long as you like.

Recommended path

Freeplay

Unscored, unhurried, and the best place to start. You call the target out loud to yourself, tap, and the app tells you what it was.

  1. Put the blindfold on and open a Freeplay drill.
  2. Let an impression form, and make your guess.
  3. Tap anywhere on the screen.
  4. The app announces the answer, so you know straight away whether your MindSight was accurate.
  • Colours — six, never twice in a row
  • Shapes — the five Zener symbols
  • Words — a random three-letter word

Scored

Same blindfold, same drill — but now you say it out loud and the app keeps the book. For when you want to know whether you're actually improving.

  1. Press and hold anywhere on the screen.
  2. Speak what your MindSight gives you.
  3. Release, and get an immediate hit or miss.
  4. Twenty-five attempts are scored and saved, so your progress is there to look back on.

Hits and misses come back as sound and vibration as well as on screen — one pulse or two, counted out — so you can keep the blindfold on right through a scored session and still know exactly how you're doing.

Craft

Built like someone cared

An interface with weather

Drifting nebulae, hundreds of individually twinkling stars, sparkles, the occasional shooting star, and a slow shimmer across the whole surface. Nothing on screen is ever quite still.

Reveals worth waiting for

A perspective card flip, a hit burst in gold, a miss in deep red, and a screen shake that scales with your streak. The feedback is the reward.

Sound and touch, tuned

Separate music and effects volumes, distinct cues per symbol and colour, streak stingers at 3, 7 and 10, and haptics that confirm a hit without punishing a miss.

Offline first, genuinely

No network, no account, no problem. Sign-in, leaderboards and analytics are optional layers on top — if any of them fail, the games don't notice.

Accessible by default

Large labelled targets, semantics on every interactive element, and full respect for your system's reduce-motion setting.

Session coordinates

Every run is stamped with its own code, so a session you want to talk about is a session you can point at.

The honest bit

We show you
the chance baseline

Five choices means one in five. Over twenty-five trials, pure guessing averages five hits — and lands anywhere from two to eight without anything unusual happening at all.

So we draw that line on your results and leave it there. Psychic Tournament is a training and entertainment app, not a scientific instrument, and a good score is not evidence of anything paranormal. It's a good score. Enjoy it, then play again.

A 25-trial session

Beat the line consistently, across a lot of sessions, and you've got something worth paying attention to. Beat it once and you've had a nice evening.
